Societas Heraldica is dedicated to preserving and advancing the art, history, and practice of personal and organizational heraldry through public education and scholarly research.
Societas Heraldica was founded to study, preserve, and advance the tradition of heraldry. We seek to educate the public about the art and practices of personal and organisational heraldry, as well as its auxiliary sciences.
We have a number of programs and qualifications planned throughout the year, and also offer plenty of publication opportunities by way of our publication, Sylva Armorum. We welcome all who wish to join regardless of experience or knowledge of the subject.

Heraldry is composed of certain conventional tinctures and figures.
Heraldry is designed and employed in accordance with rules that have evolved in Europe and European-influenced countries.
Membership in Societas Heraldica can be granted to anyone, anywhere, who meaningfully contributes to the study and practice of heraldry. We deeply value all forms of contribution, whether you are submitting articles, boosting the Discord server, conducting research, reviewing peers, mentoring others, or creating helpful resources.
